This is a valley along Hwy 40 between Grand Cache & Grand Prairie. Yesterday we saw lots of evergreen trees with aspens and today lots of aspen trees with evergreen among them.

This is a coal generating plant we saw along Hwy 40. They are mining their own coal and they bring the coal from the mine to the plant via conveyor.

There REALLY is a moose in the middle of these trees. Sorry. I am learning as I go and haven't got it figured out how to resize and pull in the object. Linda got a better picture but when I opened the van door, the moose got skitish and moved into the trees.

First a wild bear and now a moose......Ladies, PLEASE keep your heads, arms, legs and entire bodies inside the vehicle upon all wild animal sightings. Linda...you may have to use the child lockout safety device feature on your door to keep Phyllis and Ila from opening their car doors.
Did anyone buy them a zoom lense for their cameras?
I think I saw the moose when I enlarged the photo. Was it a dark brown? It looked more like a horse in the picture with smooth, dark "fur". Is that what you saw too?
Glad to read that everything is going well and you are all having a wonderful time. On a side note, nice that you are still heading north and we are heading south! :)
Ward wants to know...Have you seen a Yetty? Also, he wrote the previous comment. -MC
