Yep, I'm paying attention

Hi, I'm Phyllis, the third member of this fantastic team. This should be an exciting trip in more ways than one. The last meeting we had, we all spent a lot of time looking for things we couldn't remember where we had put them. Now what are the chances of us not only finding our way to Alaska, but home as well? I have always wanted to drive to Alaska, because my dad worked for one of the construction companies that helped build the Highway. So like Ila, the trip holds some history for me. I think we have it pretty well planned, but none of those plans are set in stone, and can be changed at any time. Since we don't plan to do this again, the goal to to see and do everything our hearts desire. When I'm asked, when will we be home?, I just say who knows. I hope you will all enjoy following our adventure.

Well I am going to see if my team mates are checking out this blog. Linda reminded me that five weeks from today, we will be leaving on this adventure. I'm sure glad they have the route planned and I can just "go along for the ride!" Alaska -- here we come. I must look to find my brother's Army picture and hope we get a chance to stop at Eilsen Air Force Base to see where he served during the early 1950s. I have this plan to take his picture and get my picture taken at the "sign" of the AF base. Just a crazy old woman thing here.
