This is Linda writing today. Okay there seems to be some confusion. Potash is a fertilizer that almost all farmers use in one form or another. We didn't know what it was until we had seen the entire plant and finally found the entrance sign. Since it is mined from the ground, it must be pretty natural!

This afternoon late we gassed the van again and I was quite excited. The price was ONLY $1.279 per litre. At 4 litres per gallon, that converts to ONLY $5.12 per gallon. I was happy because all the other we have purchased in Canada has ranged from $5.20 to $5.60 when converted to gallons. Now quit your complaining about the possibility of $4 per gallon!

Today we went to church at the Bridge Church of the Nazarene in Lethbridge, Alberta. It is small and meets at a Christian school since they sold their building because of it's poor condition. We saw Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump near Ft. McLoed. The indians rounded up buffalo and stampeded them over the cliff to their death. The name is because one of the young braves wanted to go to the bottom to watch them. Well, it seems that while he was watching them, as they fell, he got his head smashed in! We are in Calgary tonight at the airport Comfort Inn to the tune of $125 or so. In case you're wondering, yes, Calgary in big. The airport is far bigger than the one in Kansas City. We won't be leaving in the morning until after rush hour and plan to see the Olympic Park where the Olympics were held. Also on the adgenda is the Calgary Stampede Arena. After that it's off to the Canadian Rockies.

Tonight our internet connection seems to be fine after two night of mucho problems with the motel's connections. Hopefully we are done with that problem.

It rained today while we were driving and that is the first we had seen to amount to anything. Have a nice day or evening or whatever when you are reading this.
